Room package
ICU bed space equipment package
A repeatable bed-space kit for intensive care and high-dependency units, from the 5-function electric bed to the pendant that brings gases and power to it.

Intensive care is planned bed space by bed space, and the same kit is repeated many times. Small decisions multiply: a bed without CPR release, a pendant without enough outlets, a mattress that does not suit long stays. This package defines one complete bed space with products chosen to work together: an electric ICU bed with CPR release and nurse lock, an ICU pendant for gases and power, a monitor cart and pressure-relief support.

Planning notes
What to settle before the order goes into production.
Choose the bed for the worst day
ICU beds need electric height, backrest, knee-rest and Trendelenburg tilt, plus a CPR release that flattens the backrest in one action. The KL-BC101 adds a nurse lock and a 0–90° angle indicator so the head-of-bed angle can be checked at a glance.
Count outlets per bed
Write down how many oxygen, air and vacuum outlets, electrical sockets and data points each bed needs, then add spares. ICU pendants are built to that list.
Think about pressure injuries early
Long ICU stays make pressure care part of the equipment list, not an afterthought. An alternating air mattress is a low-cost addition when ordered with the bed.

Questions
What is the difference between an ICU bed and a ward bed?
ICU beds are usually 5-function electric beds with Trendelenburg tilt, CPR release and higher safe working loads, so staff can reposition critically ill patients quickly. Ward beds are often 2- or 3-function and may be manual.
Can the ICU package be quoted per bed?
Yes. Most ICU projects are quoted as a per-bed kit multiplied by the number of beds, with shared items such as monitor carts and suction units added separately.
