KL-LED·MSTZ4
Mobile LED Surgical Light
- Power supply100–240 V, 50/60 Hz
- Max. power consumption120 VA
The KL-LED-MSTZ5 is Keling Medical's mobile five-petal-dome LED surgical light, offering a higher LED count and five-lobe dome architecture compared to the four-petal KL-LED-MSTZ4 sibling. The five-petal dome directs light onto the surgical field from five discrete angular positions, further reducing residual shadow in deep or complex operative cavities. With 45 imported LEDs, the lamp achieves 160,000 lux at 1 m across a light field diameter of 10–28 cm, delivering a color rendering index of Ra ≥ 85.
The KL-LED-MSTZ5 uses digital stepless regulation for brightness control—not stepped switches—ensuring smooth, flicker-free transitions across the full output range. Color temperature is continuously adjustable from 3,000 K to 6,700 K, covering warm white through daylight spectra to support tissue color accuracy during different procedure types. The nano-coated heat sink maintains a heat-to-light ratio of ≤3.2 mW/m²lx, minimizing radiant heat transfer to the surgical site. The imported balance arm design provides flexible up-and-down adjustment and holds position without drift during extended procedures.
Built on a mobile floor stand with castors, the KL-LED-MSTZ5 requires no ceiling installation and can be repositioned between rooms or procedure zones. The removable handle sheath supports rapid sterile field management. Two variants are available for procurement: KL-LED·MSTZ5 (single head) and KL-LED·MSTZ5D (dual head). Ceiling height requirements of 270–320 cm apply when the unit is used in a room with overhead fixtures, though the mobile stand itself operates independently of ceiling height.
Five-lobe shadowless head directs light from five angles onto the surgical field, providing superior shadow elimination in deep and complex body cavities compared to four-petal configurations.
Delivers 160,000 lux at 1 m working distance for high-intensity illumination requirements in major open surgical procedures.
Higher LED count (45 vs. 39 in the MSTZ4) increases redundancy and luminous uniformity across the field; ultra-thin optical lenses maximize efficiency.
Dedicated low-brightness mode reduces output to 10,000 lux at 1 m to preserve endoscopic camera image quality during minimally invasive procedures.
Continuous, smooth, flicker-free brightness adjustment via digital control allows precise intensity setting without perceptible steps.
Full warm-to-daylight spectrum adjustment supports surgeon preference and tissue differentiation for different case types.
Nano surface treatment maximizes heat dissipation area, keeping LED junction temperatures low and extending service life to 50,000 hours.
Flexible up-and-down adjustment with position-hold ensures the lamp head remains where positioned throughout long procedures.
Detachable sterile handle sheath is easy to remove for autoclaving or chemical disinfection between procedures.
Self-contained mobile base with locking castors allows deployment and repositioning without ceiling mounting hardware.
100–240 V / 50–60 Hz input is compatible with medical-grade power infrastructure worldwide.
KL-LED·MSTZ5D provides a second lamp head on the same mobile platform for procedures requiring illumination from multiple directions.

The KL-LED-MSTZ5 mobile surgical light is designed for facilities requiring high-intensity, shadow-free illumination with the flexibility of a repositionable floor-standing unit. The five-petal dome and endoscopy mode make it particularly suited to facilities handling a mixed case load of open and minimally invasive procedures.
Typical deployment settings include:
The Keling KL-LED-MSTZ5 is a mobile LED shadowless operating lamp used as the primary light source during surgical procedures. It delivers 160,000 lux of shadow-free illumination at 1 m from its five-petal dome head, with 45 LEDs and an endoscopy mode for minimally invasive cases. It is suitable for general surgery, laparoscopy, neurosurgery, orthopedics and gynecology in hospitals, clinics and ambulatory surgery centers.
The KL-LED-MSTZ5 five-petal dome positions LED clusters at five angular lobe positions around the central axis, compared to four positions in the KL-LED-MSTZ4. This additional lobe provides an extra direction of light fill, further reducing residual shadow in irregular or deep surgical cavities where a four-petal pattern may leave shadow at certain angles. The KL-LED-MSTZ5 also carries 45 LEDs versus 39 on the MSTZ4, increasing total luminous output distribution and redundancy.
The KL-LED-MSTZ5 is the single-dome mobile configuration. The KL-LED-MSTZ5D is the dual-dome version, mounting two five-petal lamp heads on the same mobile floor-stand platform. The dual-dome variant is specified for procedures requiring illumination from two independently adjustable light sources simultaneously, such as complex abdominal or thoracic cases with multiple operating surgeons.
